SabahNexus.com – Terms & Conditions of Use (BETA VERSION)

Welcome to SabahNexus.com, a Sabahan social and community platform currently in BETA and in TESTING MODE. By accessing or using Sabah Nexus, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please stop using the site immediately.

Because this is a BETA VERSION, you understand and accept that the platform may contain bugs, errors, incomplete features, unexpected behaviour, and temporary service interruptions.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using SabahNexus.com, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old.

  • You agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions.

  • You understand this platform is in TESTING PHASE and may change at any time.

We may update these terms without prior notice, and continued use means you accept the updated version.

2. Limited License (Personal Use Only)

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use SabahNexus.com for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You are not allowed to:

  • Copy, sell, rent, or distribute any part of the website.

  • Reverse engineer, modify, or attempt to extract source code.

  • Use the platform to build a similar or competing service.

All content, code, design, and trademarks belong to SabahNexus.com.

3. BETA Version Disclaimer

SabahNexus.com is currently provided “AS IS”, without any guarantee of reliability, uptime, or accuracy.

During BETA testing, you may experience:

  • System downtime

  • Missing or incomplete features

  • Data loss

  • Errors or unexpected behaviour

By using the platform, you agree that you will not hold SabahNexus.com responsible for any issues arising from these limitations.

4. User Content & Responsibilities

“User Content” includes photos, posts, comments, messages, or any material you submit.

You agree that you will not upload content that:

  • Violates copyright or others' rights

  • Contains hate speech, threats, harassment, vulgarity, or explicit content

  • Promotes violence, racism, or illegal activity

  • Is misleading, harmful, or inappropriate

  • Violates any Malaysian or international law

You remain fully responsible for your content and any consequences from posting it.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these rules.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to:

  • Upload malware, viruses, or harmful software

  • Spam users with ads or unsolicited messages

  • Create fake accounts or use bots

  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or overload the platform

6. No Obligation for Support

Because SabahNexus is in testing mode, we are not required to provide customer support or technical assistance, though we may try to help when possible.

SabahNexus.com may contain links to third-party websites or show ads.
We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their content or policies.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law:

  • SabahNexus.com is not liable for data loss, account issues, financial loss, or any damages resulting from your use of the platform.

  • You use the site at your own risk, especially during the BETA phase.

If any liability is imposed, it is strictly limited to RM100 maximum.

9. Account Termination

We may suspend or delete your account at any time if you:

  • Violate these Terms

  • Abuse, harass, or harm other users

  • Upload prohibited content

  • Attempt to disrupt the platform

Deleted accounts and their content may not be recoverable.
